Our bootcamp covers the use of rapid prototyping materials, which are materials that allow you to quickly and easily create physical prototypes of your ideas. You'll learn about different types of materials, such as foam and cardboard, and how to use them to bring your ideas to life. You'll also learn about design thinking and how to prototype and iterate your ideas quickly to get feedback and improve your designs.
✔Electronics:
Electronics is another essential component of robotics, and in our bootcamp, you'll learn about the basics of electronics. You'll learn about electronic components such as LDR's, Potentiometers, ultrasound, etc, and how to use them to build circuits. You'll also learn deeper about microcontrollers such Tokymaker and how to program them to control your robots.
✔Creativity:
We believe that creativity is a crucial aspect of robotics and coding, and we strive to foster creativity in all of our learners. In our bootcamp, you'll work on fun and engaging projects that will allow you to explore your creative side. You'll also learn about design principles, such as color theory and composition, and how to apply them to your projects.
✔Augmented Reality:
Taking all that we learned from the LEVEL 1 course and going deeper into Augmented Reality, you'll learn about how to create Augmented Reality experiences that are interactive with the real world using sensors. For example, how to create a sphere floating in the air that turns red when you are sitting in front of your laptop for too long. This project requires sensors that send information to your AR experience. You will learn how to do that 😎
✔ Sensors and Actuators
You will have the chance to see more kind of sensors, and how to use them to create more complex robots and how to use them to gather data. Some examples are PIR sensor, linear potentiometer, heart bit rate sensor, conductivity sensor, etc. sensors. You'll also learn about different types of actuators, such as 360 or 180 degree servos and DC motors, Neopixel LED strip, and how to use them to control the movement of your robots and create all sort of interactions.
✔ Coding
In the level 2 course, you will build on the programming skills you learned in level 1 and delve deeper into the world of robotics. You'll learn more advanced programming concepts such as flags, filters, 2nd level loops, for, functions, etc. These topics are essential for building more complex robots and applications.
✔ Internet of Things
As a key part of this our learning path, you'll be introduced to the concept of IoT and how it is changing the way we design and build robots. You'll learn how to integrate various sensors and actuators with your robots, and how to use programming and data acquisition techniques to enable them to communicate and interact with other devices. This will give you a solid foundation in the skills and tools needed to build IoT-enabled robotics projects.
