The Starter Kit is an introduction to the capabilities of Tokymaker. We selected some of the most useful sensors and actuators, that are in line with some of our courses, examples and projects.
Remember that Tokymaker is compatible with general electronics you can buy in any shop, so you can extend the capabilities at a very reduced price. It means that you do not need to buy the sensors and actuators from TokyLabs, we have standard connectors to be fully compatible.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my son as he uses these at school so not had chance to try it yet, but I have seen some of the things he’s done with them at school and am very impressed with the range of things that you can do.

Starter kit is the all-in-one package that I needed to get my students up and running in the STEM disciplines. If I need more sensors in the future I will buy compatible ones on amazon or digi-key for a cheap price. However, it makes sense to get this kit first to understand what kind of peripherals can I connect it to.
As a STEM teacher, this tool allows me to deliver my lessons easily. Besides, they have a cool curriculum available for free on their website. IMHO it’s a reliable product, and other prototyping boards can’t implement IoT like this little guy does!

I didn’t know this hardware before, but a friend referred it to me. This device is way better than microbit for school students. They can work with real electronics.Tokymaker is very durable. I like the way everything connects and works from the website.

I recommend you buying the starter kit instead of just toky alone. Like it!

Great value kit. Even comes with USB charger to get started straight away. Had to order one for my daughter, who was insisting to get into more engaging science hobbies. She used it in class this year, and she wanted to do more with it at home. Hopefully it won’t just sit in a box with her Raspberry Pi…Some interesting projects on the tokylabs site to get them started.
